Measuring
We have the tools, skills, and experience to disassemble and reassemble furniture that is built to be taken apart and put back together. However, not all furniture is built this way. When planning your move or purchasing a new piece of furniture please consider any narrow stairways, low ceilings, and tight turns at the locations involved. Furniture that fits through all pathways at one location may not fit through them at another.
Packing
We have materials to wrap and protect furniture, but we do not pack personal items into bags and boxes. Packing your personal items into boxes and bags beforehand will save you time, money, and ensure a smooth moving process.
Pack heavier items, such as books and records, into smaller boxes.
Pack lighter items into medium/large boxes.
Consolidate items in any way possible.
Avoid loose items as this will interrupt the flow of the move.
Details
Please provide us with any details that may lengthen the duration of the move. The following are some examples:
Additional last minute items you intend to have moved that we are unaware of.
A very busy, small, or slow elevator that will be involved in the move.
An unusually long distance from the street to your item drop off point, e.g., your apartment entrance.
Construction that is near your location entrance or blocking off the street.
We need to know these details, so that we can leave enough time to arrive at other moves on time.
